Pirate Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup green pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 soup can water
  • 1/2 cup uncooked rice
  • crushed cornflakes

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown meat with celery, green pepper, onion and mushrooms. Mix soups, water and rice. Combine meat mixture and soup mixture and put in 2 quart casserole dish. Top with crushed cornflakes. Bake 1 hour.

Serves 4 to 6.
