Apple-Pumpkin Butter


1-3/4 cups canned pumpkin
1 cup apple, peeled, cored and grated
1 cup apple juice
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
3/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice


Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer for 1-1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Makes 3 cups.
